The checklist contains bryophyte names reported from Gansu Province of China. It includes 231 specific and subspecific epithets of mosses and hepatics with 164 accepted names in 91 genera and 41 family, i.e., 22 species of liverworts in 9 genera and 9 families, and 134 species and 8 varieties of mosses in 81 genera and 32 families. These taxa are presented separately in an alphabetical list followed by annotations and a synopsis of classification. No hornwort has been recorded from Gansu.
