Nine little-known for Russia
species ( Anastrophyllum cavifolium, Barbilophozia hyperborea, Calycularia
laxa, Cephaloziella elachista, Cryptocolea imbricata, Jamesoniella undulifolia,
Scapania microdonta, S. sphaerifera, Tritomaria heterophylla) are
characterized with respect to their ecological behavior, reproduction, and
geographical distribution. Three of them (Cephaloziella elachista, Scapania
microdonta, S. sphaerifera) are recorded for the first time for Yakutia.
Listed localities of Anastrophyllum cavifolium, Cryptocolea imbricata
are southernmost for Russia, of Tritomaria heterophylla is southernmost
in the World, of Scapaniamicrodonta is northernmost in the World and of Barbilophozia
hyperborea the first finding in Russia outside the Arctic zone. Diagnostic
characters of the most considered species are discussed and illustrated.
